Md. Hasibul Kabir Kaium

Chairman

Md. Kaium completed his Masters of Business from Dhaka University (http://www.dhakauniversity.edu.bd/) also completed a one-year diploma in Fashion business from The Fashion Institute in Bangladesh. His work experience in RMG sector, is almost more than 16 years. Kaium is acting as the Chairman in Medusa Apparels for all operations including production control, marketing and administration. He is one of the Chairman of Medusa Apparels since 2016.

“Wanted to be an aeronautical engineer but ended up in the garments industry. Still happy to be the part of such a challenging industry, where I get the opportunity to work with the poorest of the workers, who would have been starving most of their days without the presence of garments factories in Bangladesh. Cannot tolerate child labor but I have witnessed this many times. Tried, but could not stop it as I have never been able to offer any alternative for those unfortunate beautiful faces. The pain remains in my heart, with a hope, that one day we could stop it.”

Md. Raquibul Qussus

Managing Director

Raquibul completed his Master in Business Administration from Asian University and Bachelor in Business Administration from North South University. His work experience is more than 12 years in Sells, Distribution and Production sector. Raquib is acting as the Managing Director in Medusa Apparels for all operations including production control, marketing and administration. He is one of the Founder Member of Medusa Apparels.

Atiqur Rahman

Director

Atiqur Rahman has completed M.com in Accounting from Tejgaon college and MBA from Western Sydney University in the year 2007 and has long 19 years of hands on experience in knitting, Dyeing, Printing and finally in garments industry in Bangladesh.

He has been attached and served as an employee and played important roles in Senior Management in renowned MNC's in Bangladesh.

He has immense opportunity to work with lot of European and USA based trading houses and conglomerates in different occasions.

He has devoted him towards garments and printing industry and finally committed to bring some changes in Bangladesh and as well as in these industries.

Abdullah Bin Siraj

Director

Abdullah Bin Siraj has completed BCS, from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Malaysia, in the year 2005. Then He went to Japan, for bigger opportunities, and to learn more about work process. Currently he is the Senior Analyst, Data Center, NTTData Global, Japan.

He has been with the Medusa Apparels from the very beginning, as a Director, Foreign procurement.

FAQs

 

Are you manufacturer or trader?

We are manufacturer. we have our own factory located in Bangladesh. but we also work as agent for other factories and customers.

What item do you do most?

Our factory is able to produce - Mens/Ladies/Kids items which includes - Tee's , polo's , pyjama , sweaters etc. We do not have our own denim and non-denim woven factory, so we source those items from other factories.

What is the lead time?

Usually it takes 45-90 days after payment confirmation depending on the type of order.

What is the payment term?

We accept LC at sight. We also work on DP 30 days( deffered payment). We also work on 30% T/T advance.

What are the most common fabrics in Bangladesh?

Our domestic raw materials for circular knit are : 100% cotton, 95/5 cot/nylon, CVC (65/35 Cot/polyester) , TC (65/35 Polyester/Cot). In case of flat knit (sweaters) the commonly used yarns are : Cotton, Acrylic , Blend of acr/cot or cot/nylon or acr/wool , Moherlike, Cashmerelike etc.

How long do you take for samples?

We prepare samples in 7 working days + courier time 3-4 days.

Do you charge for samples?

No we do not charge for samples but we expect our customer to take them on thier account.

Can you give me some price idea?

Please send us the inquiry; we will give you the price idea within 24 hours.

Do you provide inspection service?

Yes, we do inspection on behalf of our customers. Currently we are giving this service to few customers from Europe. We charge per style not per day. So our service is cheaper than other inspection companies like ITS, SGS, BV.

Do you charge inspection fee for your own orders?

No, the orders, which are placed to our company, do not have any inspection fee. As a supplier, this is our responsibility to make sure the goods are not quality compromised.
