Message from the Chairman

With more than 15 years of experience in the RMG sector, and since 2015, we have built a strong and solid reputation as an efficient, flexible and dedicated buying agent for the apparel value chain. Medusa Apparels has made huge progress. It is now establishing itself as a well-known sourcing office in Bangladesh, and carving a presence in other markets around the world including the UK and Europe.

My aim is to position Medusa Apparels firmly as a maker of the world's best garments — offering everyday clothing for comfortable, free and fulfilling daily living. To earn such a position, garments must offer the very best in high quality, superior functionality, sophisticated design, impressive innovation and reasonable pricing.

We greatly value a commitment to high quality, attentive customer service, and teamwork. These values underpin our management principles and form the strings of Bangladeshi DNA that run through the heart of our corporate culture. Md. Kaium holds a Master of Business from Dhaka University and a one-year diploma in Fashion Business from The Fashion Institute in Bangladesh. He has more than 16 years of experience in the RMG sector, and acts as Chairman for all operations including production control, marketing and administration. He has been Chairman of Medusa Apparels since 2016.

Wanted to be an aeronautical engineer but ended up in the garments industry. Still happy to be part of such a challenging industry, where I get the opportunity to work with the poorest of workers, who would have been starving most of their days without the presence of garments factories in Bangladesh. Cannot tolerate child labour, but I have witnessed it many times. Tried, but could not stop it, as I have never been able to offer any alternative for those unfortunate beautiful faces. The pain remains in my heart, with a hope that one day we could stop it.

Raquibul Quddus

Managing Director

Raquibul holds an MBA from Asian University and a BBA from North South University. He brings more than 12 years of experience across sales, distribution and production, and acts as Managing Director for all operations including production control, marketing and administration. He is a founder member of Medusa Apparels.

Always wanted to be in the production related business from the very beginning. The joy of making something always inspired me. And after many years of serving as a sales person, at last, in 2015, we started our own garments producing factory — which is a dream come true type of thing for me.

Atiqur Rahman

Director

Atiqur Rahman completed an M.Com in Accounting at Tejgaon College and an MBA at Western Sydney University in 2007. He brings 19 years of hands-on experience in knitting, dyeing, printing and garments in Bangladesh, having held senior management roles at well-known multinationals and worked with European and US trading houses and conglomerates. He has devoted himself to the garments and printing industries with a commitment to changing how they operate in Bangladesh.
